Dining Room

Enjoy your meal with a side of luxury in our fully-furnished dining room. Our dining room is located on the lower level and boasts rows of modest, yet expertly set, tables seating 1-4 people. Wake up to style and gloriously wholesome home-cooking, provided to you direct from the proprietors.

All meals are made-to-order and all dietary requirements are catered for upon request. Breakfast choices include full English, Continental, and vegetarian alternatives. Breakfast is served daily between 8.30am and 9:30am, and there is an optional evening menu for those who have purchased the bed, breakfast and evening meal bundle upon booking.

 

Lounge & Bar

Relax and unwind after a long day of events, sightseeing and family fun in our beautifully furnished lounge & bar areas. Here you will find a fully licensed and well-stocked bar, where you can purchase a hand-picked selection of your favourite alcoholic beverages.

As well as our TV lounge, the bar area also contains a games and entertainment area. A flat screen television for guest viewing is situated just inside the lounge area and also in the bar, with a full-sized pool table and darts board located to the opposite side.

Whether you wish to make some new friends, discuss the day’s activities, or you just want to relax for a while - we have the perfect place for you.

How to reach the place

All accommodation is offered subject to availability at the of receipt of deposit and at the tariffs applicable according to season.

Payment & Settlements of Accounts
We use payment engine Elavon to process online deposits and account settlement payments. All payment authorisation is conducted remotely on Elavon's servers and no credit card data is stored on our website or servers.

If you wish to pay by cheque please remit at least seven days prior to your stay. Authorised credit cards, validated cheques and cash may be paid on arrival

All Balances are to be paid up to & no later than 2 days prior to departure

If you are not present for check-in between the hours of 14:00 - 20:00 on day of arrival, we reserve the right to re-let your room unless prior notice is given and a mutual agreement is made. Please note that anyone trying to gain entry to the property, without prior notice & authorisation being given, before 14:00 hours will be required to wait until check-in opens at 14:00 hours.

Cancellations
In the event of any cancellation, the person whose name represents the booking will be liable to pay for the total cost as per the reservation. Deposits are non refundable and non transferable and will be deducted from any monies claimed for breach of contract. It is recommended that you take out Cancellation Insurance for any unforeseen circumstances

Meals
Meal times are pre-arranged and, in the event of a dinner service, notices are displayed stating menus and times; no allowances will be made for latecomers unless prearranged with the proprietors. It is the responsibilty of all guests to be present at meals and to arrive on time, If guests are not present for set meals, no monetary compensation will be given.

Departure
All rooms must be vacated by 10:30 hours on the day of departure, later checkout times can be pre-arranged subject to room availability. Please note that this may incur an additional charge.

Damages
It is a term of condition that guests conduct themselves in a manner that is fair and reasonable. The cost of any damages caused by guests or their dependants will be added to the total price of their stay and is payable upon departure by cash or credit card. Refusal to pay will result in legal action being taken.

The proprietors do not accept responsibility for the loss or damage of guest’s personal belongings.

The proprietors do not accept responsibility for any personal injury incurred during any duration of stay.

Data Security
We store personal data on our secure servers only to facilitate online booking such as name, address, telephone number and email address. This information is never shared with third parties and is removed automatically 3 months after departure date.

Upon receipt of deposit you hereby agree to all terms outlined and will be liable for any damages or losses incurred during your stay.

Christine & Terry, the proprietors of The Belvedere Hotel Blackpool, welcome you to their 34-bedroom guest accommodation, offering ease-of-access to adults and children of all physical abilities. Steps into the property can be easily bypassed for wheelchair users using a portable ramp. Christine & Terry ensure that all their guest’s needs concerning physical difficulty are accommodated quickly, easily and without prejudice

Pre-Arrival
Room availability queries can be sent using the ‘contact us’ section of our website, by telephone, email, or via our query form.

Information on public transport routes can be found on the Blackpool Transport website; this includes timetables and route maps for all trams and busses in the area. The nearest bus stops to the property are within a 5 minute walk, located (southbound) outside mcdonalds and (northbound) opposite the Boony Street market-facing entrance of Coral Island.

Details concerning the optimum accessibility and safety of our guests are given upon enquiry and put into practice when rooms are assigned. Please give details before, or upon, booking regarding any special requirements within your party to allow us to best accommodate your/their needs.

Arrival & Car Parking Facilities
There is free and unrestricted street parking available outside of the property for blue-badge holders, and a secure car parking facility situated 0.3 miles from the hotel, a 6 minute walk away. This car park can be found on Google Maps by typing in ‘Blackpool Secure Car Park’. Other secure parking facilities are also available in the area, including one on Reads avenue and another above Wilkinson’s; details of these can be given upon booking. Information on other car parks, suitable for day parking, can also be given upon booking.

Main Entrance and Reception Area
Entry into the property is made using one of the two front door entrances (located side-by-side), and by ringing the doorbell to the right. A member of staff will then greet you at the door and give any assistance needed to enter the property. If you are unable to reach the front door on your own, or without the use of a ramp, please give prior notice and an expected arrival time, so that staff may assist you.

You will be guided into reception, situated to the right through a set of open double doors, by Christine or Terry to receive your room and front door key. The floor is carpeted, flat and free from tripping hazards. Both the hallway and reception area are well-lit with overhead and natural lighting.

Public Areas - Hall, Stairs, Landing, Corridors etc
The building is on five floors. The bedrooms are situated on the, first and second and third floor. The dining room and cabaret bar are situated below ground floor level. All floors are accessed via stairs or by lift. The Ground floor lift is situated between the Bar/lounge and reception areas, and is visible when entering though the front entrance. The lift offers the Induction Loop service for those hard of hearing, operating instructions are within the lift. All flooring throughout the hotel, excluding bathroom facilities, is carpeted. We offer our guests free access to our Wi-Fi internet (please request password at reception)

Public Areas - Sitting room, lounges, lobbies etc
The lounge, bar and games area is situated on the ground floor, and is all one level. This area has ample wall lighting, the whole area as ample seating including chairs and stools . The games area contains ample seats, a pool table, a dart board and access to the public toilet.

Public WCs
We have 2 unisex public toilet one which is situated on the ground floor next to the pool table.and one in the basement Bar areas we also have one male and one female toilet in the cabaret area .

Dining room and Cabaret bar area
The dining room is located on the lower level (below the ground floor at basement level) and has approximately 30 tables that seat up to four people.
Tables can be rearranged to accommodate larger groups upon request. Breakfast is served between 8:30am and 9:30am and will be either self-service or waitress-served depending upon demand. Please inform reception of any allergies or other special dietary requirements before breakfast service starts.

The Cabaret area has a large bar, low mood lighting and ample seating (chairs); this area is open during nights of evening entertainment. It is not open all of the time.

Bedrooms & Sleeping Areas
All our rooms are en-suite, with TVs in all rooms. Please note that Wi-Fi accessibility the signal may decline the further from the ground floor reception you are.

Shower seats are available upon request for use in the en-suites; there is also a raised toilet seat for use with any toilet within the property available on request. There are no grab handles in any of our bathroom facilities (including all en-suites)at present.

There are 2 family rooms (sleeping up to four people), 9 triple rooms (sleeping up to three people), 6 twin rooms (sleeping up to two people) 13 double rooms (sleeping up to two people) and 4 single rooms (sleeping one person only); further information regarding beds and bedroom accessibility can be obtained from reception upon request before, or during, booking. Cots are also available from reception and may incur extra cost.

Bedrooms have either wall or ceiling lighting as well as bedside lamps. Main and secondary lighting sources differ from room to room; please ask for more details if required.

All bedrooms contain a hospitality tray that features; an electric kettle , tea, coffee, sugar, milk and complimentary biscuits. Beverages are replenished once daily; if additional supplies are required, please ask at reception.

The fire alarm is a loud and shrill ringing bell sound and can be heard in all areas of the premises. Anyone with hearing difficulties that have any concerns please notify the hotel staff before or on arrival.

Additional Information
Fire and emergency procedures are available to view in reception and in all bedrooms. These procedures can be fully explained to you if you have difficulty reading or understanding them. Information regarding wheelchair hire, or any other specialist service, can be ascertained from reception upon request.

Future Plans
We always look to improve different parts of the premise in each winter season depending on essential repairs taking priority.

Q. Are all of your rooms en-suite?
A. Yes. All 34 our beautifully decorated bedrooms have en-suite facilities, including toilet, shower and wash basin.

Q. What time is breakfast served and is it included with the price?
A. Breakfast is included in the price for each person’s stay and is served between 8.30am and 9.30am each morning.

Q. Do you accept coach parties and other large groups?
A. Yes, we are always more than happy to cater for any large group, the price of your groups stay can incorporate nightly entertainment arranged by us. Please note, however, that some groups (hen or stag parties etc) are only permitted at the owner’s discretion and may require a security deposit.

Q. Is your hotel family friendly?
A. Yes, here at The Belvedere Hotel we are always happy to accommodate children and adults of all ages. Our hotel is a safe, secure and calming environment for your child

Q. I have a young child; do I need to pay for his/her stay?
A. Children under the age of two years stay at The Belvedere for free. However, cots,food (such as breakfast) will then become an added extra. Children aged 2-12 will receive a discount on their stay with us.

Q. Myself or my partner has a physical disability that makes stairs difficult; do you have any ground floor rooms?
A. We do not currently have any ground floor rooms but there is a lift to all floors, with rooms on each floor positioned within close proximity to the lift. If you, or anyone that will be staying with you, has any difficulties with physical activity, please let us know upon booking and we will be happy to do everything we can to assist.

Q. Is there a bar in the hotel?
A. Yes, actually we have two. Both of our bars are fully licensed and stocked with draught beers and spirits. Our larger bar is open when there are entertainment evenings, but our smaller bar, located in the lounge area, is open to all residents during licensing hours.

Q. Do you allow pets into the hotel?
A. Unfortunately for health and safety reasons, no animals are permitted on the premises; this excludes guide dogs (prior notice required.)

Q. Where can I park?
A. There are several car parks within very close proximity of the hotel, one of which is a secure car park that is locked up overnight. There is time-restricted pay & display street parking outside of the property. Street parking is free and unrestricted for disabled blue-badge holders.

Q. What time is checkout?
A. To allow our housekeeping staff to maintain a high level of cleanliness for other guests, we require all guests to vacate their rooms by 10.30am on their departure date. If this is inconvenient for you and you wish to discuss a later checkout time, please speak to a member of staff and we will do our best to accommodate your request. Please note that this may incur an additional charge.

The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Chris and Terry were very welcoming, gave us plenty of information regarding the nearby area and good places to eat. and allowed us extra time to keep our bags on site on our day of check out! Very much appreciated! As myself and a friend were in town for a fitness convention, we were also very thankful for the amazing showering facilities at the Belvedere. See you next year hopefully! Leanne We stayed here for 2 night in September last year and had a fabulous time. The room was clean and spacey. Also the staff where nice and friendly and the breakfast had a good variety for both children and adults. We are definitely come back this year!!!
