Introduction
Christine & Terry, the proprietors of The Belvedere Hotel Blackpool, welcome you to their 33-bedroom guest accommodation, offering ease-of-access to adults and children of all physical abilities. Steps into the property can be easily bypassed for wheelchair users using a portable ramp. Christine & Terry ensure that all their guest’s needs concerning physical difficulty are accommodated quickly, easily and without prejudice

Information on public transport routes can be found on the Blackpool Transport website; this includes timetables and route maps for all trams and busses in the area. The nearest bus stops to the property are within a 5 minute walk, located (southbound) outside McDonalds and (northbound) opposite the Boony Street market-facing entrance of Coral Island.
Details concerning the optimum accessibility and safety of our guests are given upon enquiry and put into practice when rooms are assigned. Please give details before, or upon, booking regarding any special requirements within your party to allow us to best accommodate your/their needs.
Arrival & Car Parking Facilities
There is no on-site parking available but limited time period street parking available outside of the property for guests. Blue-badge holders may park free of charge on the street for an unlimited time if space permits. This is at the discretion of Blackpool Council and may change at any time.
A secure car parking facility situated 0.3 miles from the hotel, a 6 minute walk away. This car park can be found on Google Maps by typing in ‘Blackpool Secure Car Park’. Other secure parking facilities are also available in the area, including one on Reads Avenue and another above Wilkinson’s; details of these can be given upon booking.

Main Entrance and Reception Area
Entry into the property is made using one of the two front door entrances (located side-by-side), and by ringing the doorbell to the right. A member of staff will then greet you at the door and give any assistance needed to enter the property. If you are unable to reach the front door on your own, or without the use of a ramp, please give prior notice and an expected arrival time, so that staff may assist you.
You will be guided into reception, situated to the right through a set of open double doors, by Christine or Terry to receive your room and front door key. The floor is carpeted, flat and free from tripping hazards. Both the hallway and reception area are well-lit with overhead and natural lighting.
Public Areas - Hall, Stairs, Landing, Corridors etc
The building is on five floors. The bedrooms are situated on the, first and second and third floor. The dining room and cabaret bar are situated below ground floor level. All floors are accessed via stairs or by lift. We are continually upgrading our rooms and communal areas but please note that there are rooms that are not yet fully wheelchair accessible and if you have difficulty with climbing stairs or negotiating steps please contact us in advance of your stay or at check-in and we will endeavour to accommodate your needs.
The Ground floor lift is situated between the Bar/lounge and reception areas, and is visible when entering though the front entrance. The lift offers the Induction Loop service for those hard of hearing, operating instructions are within the lift. All flooring throughout the hotel, excluding bathroom facilities, is carpeted. We offer our guests free access to our Wi-Fi internet (please request password at reception)
Public Areas - Sitting room, lounges, lobbies etc
The lounge, bar and games area is situated on the ground floor, and is all one level. This area has ample wall lighting, the whole area as ample seating including chairs and stools . The games area contains ample seats, a pool table, a dart board and access to the public toilet.
Public WCs
We have 2 unisex public toilet one which is situated on the ground floor next to the pool table.and one in the basement Bar areas we also have one male and one female toilet in the cabaret area .
Dining room area
The dining room is located on the lower level (below the ground floor at basement level) and has approximately 30 tables that seat up to four people. Tables can be rearranged to accommodate larger groups upon request. Breakfast is served between 8:30am and 9:30am and will be either self-service or waitress-served depending upon demand. Please inform reception of any allergies or other special dietary requirements before breakfast service starts.
Bedrooms & Sleeping Areas
All our rooms are en-suite, with TVs in all rooms. Please note that Wi-Fi accessibility the signal may decline the further from the ground floor reception you are.
Shower seats are available upon request for use in the en-suites; there is also a raised toilet seat for use with any toilet within the property available on request. There are no grab handles in any of our bathroom facilities (including all en-suites)at present.
There are 2 family rooms (sleeping up to four people), 9 triple rooms (sleeping up to three people), 6 twin rooms (sleeping up to two people) 13 double rooms (sleeping up to two people) and 4 single rooms (sleeping one person only); further information regarding beds and bedroom accessibility can be obtained from reception upon request before, or during, booking. Cots are also available from reception and may incur extra cost.
Bedrooms have either wall or ceiling lighting as well as bedside lamps. Main and secondary lighting sources differ from room to room; please ask for more details if required.
All bedrooms contain a hospitality tray that features; an electric kettle , tea, coffee, sugar, milk and complimentary biscuits. Beverages are replenished once daily; if additional supplies are required, please ask at reception. <pAdditional Information Fire and emergency procedures are available to view in reception and in all bedrooms. These procedures can be fully explained to you if you have difficulty reading or understanding them. Information regarding wheelchair hire, or any other specialist service, can be ascertained from reception upon request.
Future Plans
We always look to improve different parts of the premise in each winter season depending on essential repairs taking priority.
